More than McKee

As you might have guessed, McKee is a symbol of our family. Courtney and Rhonda wanted to pay tribute to her grandparents (Rhonda’s parents) because without them this would never be possible. A love and passion for sewing and creating colorful designs wouldn’t be a part of their lives. Their family roots lie within Scottish ancestry and McKee, a word similar to the family name Mackie, was chosen because the Scottish meaning of McKee is fire. Courtney and Rhonda felt that the representation of fire was what we embodied as a brand. This quickly created the foundation of the slogan, "Fuel your fire." The logo is from Courtney's grandpa's, farming brand that has been in the family for years. Together the name and the logo, the entire essence of the brand, is surrounded by family.

 

Providing an opportunity for everyone to give back. With our McKee Again program, we give you the option of sending back your gently used McKee Wear products, which we will donate to athletes and kids in need throughout our surrounding communities and in return you may receive 25% off your next purchase.

 

The McKee Scholarship Foundation is supported by a percentage of each McKee sale. This foundation was established to support our athletes, artists and entrepreneurs in need with the monetary funds to participate in the same opportunities as their peers. Kids can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else who could use the support of our foundation. Whether or not it helps with the team uniform fees, travel fees of a club team, fees to create a college recruitment video, or even to just attend a camp or clinic. While our Military and First Responders continuously support us and our community, we want to show our support to them and their families.
